Beto O’Rourke, democratic 2020, asked by a Texas voter on Monday that if his life had any meaning before he was born. It lead the former congressman to declare that it is a decision for the woman to make.
The unidentified man asked Beto, “My question is this: I was born Sept. 8th, 1989, and I want to know if you think on Sept. 7th, 1989, my life had no value”.
The man was referencing to the answer given by Beto in Ohio where he was asked about third trimester abortion. He said, “That should be a decision woman makes. I trust her”. He made a similar remark on Monday, only that he mentioned that he didn’t mean a man’s life has any less value.

O’Rourke answered the voter by saying, “Of course I don’t think that. And of course I’m glad that you’re here. But you referenced my answer in Ohio, and it remains the same. This is a decision that neither you, nor I, nor the United States government should be making. That’s a decision for the woman to make”.
The group which opposes the abortion called this comment sick.
