Due to an outstanding warrant Rapper, Fetty Wap was arrested on Friday outside the Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey. Police received an alert from the”679″ rapper’s ankle examiner, egging them to question Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, the Port Authority verified to Fox News.
After running the rapper’s information, police plant Fetty Wap had an active leave for his arrest.
The leave was for public nuisance and had been issued out of North Bergen, New Jersey. Specifics of the incident that led to the arrest leave are unclear. The rapper was released on bail. No bail quantum was listed. A representative for Fetty Wap didn’t incontinently respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Fetty Wap has been subject to ankle monitoring as part of his tentative release on medicine charges.
Fetty Wap was preliminarily arrested by the FBI in October and charged with conspiracy to distribute and retain controlled substances.

The rapper and others have been indicted for distributing further than 100 kilograms of cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl, and crack cocaine across Long Island and New Jersey from roughly June of 2019 to June of 2020. They allegedly got the medicines on the West Coast and used the United States Postal Service and motorists with retired vehicle chambers to transport the medicines across the country.
