Good News from Amazon India Vice President Akhil Saxena

As a part of the festive sale, Amazon India creates 50000 jobs to the graduates. With a wide network of over multiple sortation centers, 50 fulfillment centers, and nearly 150 delivery stations spread across India, Amazon have enhanced their teams significance with more than 2 times the number of seasonal associates working in their fulfillment network as well as customer service websites in contrast to the previous festive season.

Akhil Saxena announced that these additional 50000 festive seasonal positions have been created across their wide network in cities i.e., Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmadabad and others ahead of the festive season. He even added that these new 50000 recruits will accommodate with the thousands of previous associates to pick, pack, ship as well as deliver the orders to customers more efficiently.

He also mentioned that this employee enhancement will of course play an influential role in driving extraordinary experience during Amazon India’s Great Indian Festival Sale that is being held in between October 10th to 15th, 2018. A part of these new recruits actually will also work with the available 20 customer service sites across 16 cities that offer voice support to the customers in most common native languages like Telugu, English, Tamil and Kannada. The representatives of these customer service sites support all the Amazon customers available in India with pre as well as post order service support via chat, email, telephone as well as on social media.

Online shopping sites such as Flipkart, Amazon usually hire thousands of people in support as well as delivery roles to handle the high volume of orders during sale period.

On an average according to a report presented by a research firm, around 20 millions of people are expected to shop on different E-commerce platforms during the festive sale running now for e-tailors like Amazon and Flipkart.
