A renowned name in the Chinese education and recruitment sectors, Haida Interact International Company Ltd is offering free of cost TEFL training to trainee teachers in China. After the August 2018 session, the company is starting a new session from October 1, 2018 till October 7, 2018 in its Hangzhou office.
The Chinese education sector has undergone some major changes in the last few years, and leading human resource companies in China like Haida HR have been quite instrumental in bringing skilled foreign teachers to the country. In turn, these teachers have been playing a key role in giving Chinese education a makeover by introducing new ideologies and opening a whole new world for the students.
The only free TEFL program in China, training offered by Haida HR is conducted by skilled and experienced professionals of the company. The course includes 120 hours of online training, apart from 7 days duration of offline training. The training for the August session was conducted by Geoffrey West, the Director of Training and Development, Haida Interact International Co Ltd.
During the training sessions, he assisted the trainees by making them aware of the different approaches that are required to teach students coming from different cultures and speaking different languages. Under his guidance, several teachers passed the test with good scores, and are now teaching at various educational institutions in China. West is expected to conduct the upcoming October session as well.
According to a senior management personnel from Haida HR, Geoffrey West’s involvement in the July training session was the first time that someone from the higher management was closely involved in the TEFL training program. “We intended to make it a great learning curve for these teachers, something they would cherish as they go on teaching students,” the management personnel stated.
Haida HR TEFL program is open to all. While the teachers registered with the company can join the program free of cost, non-registered teachers can also be a part of it by paying a nominal fee of 3,000 RMB.
