Iran Sentences Individual to Death for Spying for the US, Report Says

Date:

One individual who was imprisoned alongside two others for spying in Iran for the U.S. was condemned to death on Tuesday in a decision that has been requested, reports said.

Reuters, refering to the nation’s legal executive site, detailed that the two other men both got 10-year sentences.

In July, President Trump expelled claims out of Iran charging that specialists there had disturbed a CIA spy ring and condemned a few of the plotters to death – an improvement that took steps to further aggravate an effectively unstable stare down between the Islamic Republic and the United States.

“The Report of Iran catching CIA spies is absolutely false. Zero truth,” Trump tweeted at the time. “Simply more lies and promulgation (like their shot down automaton) put out by a Religious Regime that is Badly Failing and has no clue what to do. Their Economy is dead, and will deteriorate. Iran is a complete wreckage!”
