John Oliver Says Trump Should Respect Women The Same Way He Respects World Leaders

John Oliver, a comedian, has had enough of President Donald Trump getting all chummy with the authoritarian leaders. Trump’s Sunday meeting with the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in the DMZ was the last thing to put up in the show “Last Week Tonight” of John Oliver.

John showed a clip of Trump telling the North Korean dictator, “It was an honour that you asked me to step over that line and I was proud to step over the line. I thought you might do that. I wasn’t sure but I was ready to do it, and I want to thank you”.

Oliver said that that’s actually nice. He further commented that it was good to see that Trump asked for a consent before he actually stepped over the line. It must have been a refreshing change of pace for him. Here, Oliver refers to the multiple accusations on the US President regarding sexual misconduct, the latest being the accusation by writer E. Jean Carroll who said he raped her.

In light of his good relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Oliver made a burning comment on Trump that says, Maybe Trump’s mantra going forward should be, “Treat women with the same respect you show murderous autocrats.’ He’s growing. Good for him”.
