Madagascar Police Found Body – Speculated to be of Cambridge Student Who Fell to Death From Plane

Madagascar Police said on Tuesday that they may have recovered the body of a 19-year-old Cambridge student who fell from a small plane over the island. 

The student, Alana Cutland, was leaving the country where she came to study a rare species of crabs when she fell from a light aircraft. The police investigation is still on to figure out whether she deliberately made the jump or not.

According to The Sun, Alana opened the plane’s door and jumped out while the other passenger and the pilot tried keeping her inside.

The pilot said Alana felt a little headache before the flight and was silent until the incident.
