New Delhi : PM Narendra Modi Approval Rating Granted over 78% ‘most popular leader’: Survey

Narendra Modi is the current Prime Minister of India and one of the most popular leaders in the country. He was born on September 17, 1950, in the small town of Vadnagar in the Indian state of Gujarat. Modi grew up in a modest family and was active in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist organization, from a young age.

He worked as a tea vendor before joining the RSS full-time and later became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the political arm of the RSS.

Modi first rose to prominence as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, where he implemented a number of reforms aimed at improving the economic and social well-being of the state’s citizens.

Under his leadership, Gujarat became one of the fastest growing states in India, attracting investment and creating jobs. He was reelected as Chief Minister three times, and his popularity grew both within and outside of Gujarat.

In 2014, Modi led the BJP to a historic victory in the national elections, winning 282 of the 543 seats in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament. He was sworn in as Prime Minister on May 26, 2014, becoming the first non-Congress Prime Minister to win a clear majority in three decades.

Since taking office, Modi has implemented a number of sweeping reforms aimed at modernizing India’s economy and transforming the country into a major global player. He launched the “Make in India” initiative, aimed at making India a hub for manufacturing and attracting foreign investment.

He also launched the Digital India campaign, aimed at providing citizens with access to technology and digital services.

One of Modi’s signature policies is the Jan Dhan Yojana, a scheme aimed at financial inclusion, which has opened millions of bank accounts for the poor and provided them with access to financial services such as insurance and pensions.

He has also launched the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, a scheme aimed at providing affordable housing to the poor, and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a campaign aimed at improving sanitation and hygiene in the country.

Modi has also made a number of efforts to improve relations with India’s neighbors and boost the country’s standing on the world stage. He has made several trips abroad, including visits to the United States, China, Japan, and the United Kingdom, and has been praised for his efforts to strengthen India’s ties with other countries.

Despite his popularity and success, Modi has faced criticism from some quarters for his handling of certain issues, such as the economy and the situation in Kashmir. Nevertheless, he remains one of the most popular leaders in India, with a large and loyal following both within and outside the country.
