Sirhan, detained for over 50 years for the 1968 death of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, is back inside a California jail about multi day in the wake of being assaulted by another prisoner and hospitalized.
State redresses office representative Jeffrey Callison said Sunday that an injured prisoner was come back to the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility close San Diego on Saturday.
An administration source with direct learning affirmed to the Associated Press that Sirhan was the person in question. The source talked under state of namelessness, refering to jail security guidelines.
Authorities had affirmed a prisoner was taken to a clinic on Friday yet did not name Sirhan.
Callison did not recognize the injured prisoner.
