October 12 brought another joyous moment for the Royal family of England when Princess Eugenie got married to her fiance, Jack Brooksbank. This is the second wedding which the Royal family will enjoy after Prince Harry married his love, Meghan Markle.
Her fiance, Jack Brooksbank, 32, is a nightclub manager and a brand ambassador of Casamigos tequila. Princess Eugenie met Jack Brooksbank on a holiday trip to Switzerland. The couple had met eight years ago in 2010, and since then they never looked back, through a distance of 3,000 miles remained between them most of the time. They got engaged in January this year. They got married today in the beautiful St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. This is the same venue, which was used by Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their wedding. Her sister, Princess Beatrice is her maid of honor, as expected! The cake, the wedding, the reception has been one of the grandest of all. Even her wedding dress, her gown was designed in such a way that she could show her scar to the world, a scar which is a reminiscence of a childhood spine surgery!
The wedding was star-studded, and the gallery included celebrities like Kate Moss, Robbie Williams, Demi 3, Naomi Campbell, etc.
Controversy:
Princess Eugenie, lover of big hats, as everybody knows her, isn’t a working royal. Granddaughter of the Queen and daughter of Prince Andrew, Eugenie doesn’t support monarch meetings and rarely plays an official role. The Duchess of York has her career in the art world and is only seen at large Royal family events like Annual trooping the color parade. Probably this is the reason, that not all (from parliament, from the general public) are happy with this wedding. Some feel that she remains out of the Royal family, and yet the public has paid over 2 million pounds for the wedding.
