Drubbed 1-7 by Australia in their last match, the Indian men’s hockey group crushed Spain 3-0 to enroll its second success at the Tokyo Olympics here on Tuesday.
India delivered an energetic execution against world No.9 Spain and scored through Simranjeet Singh (fourteenth moment) and Rupinder Pal Singh (fifteenth and 51st) to record an agreeable success in their third Pool A match at the OI Hockey Stadium.
India had before crushed New Zealand 3-2 in their initial installation. Spain, then again, are yet to enroll a success in the opposition. Spain drew 1-1 against Argentina prior to losing 3-4 to New Zealand.
The Indians will next play ruling Olympic heroes Argentina on Thursday.
