Wildlife of Ranthambore through Maharajas Express

Here in this park, you can recognize tigers with different names titled by the forest department. The Ranthambore National Park is home for 40 species of mammals and Reptiles, 50 species of butterflies, 2 amphibian species, 227 bird species, and 300 plant species. By this data, we can understand about the rich varied habitation of flora and fauna of Ranthambore.

The wildlife attractions of Ranthambore are mostly tigers which are easily spotted here, leopards, sambar deer, sloth bears, black bucks, Ganga soft shelled Turtles, Indian Chameleon etc. The beautiful bird species can be seen here are Graylag Goose, Bee Eaters, Woodpeckers, Kingfishers, Eagles, Cuckoos, Nightjars etc. These are the wildlife attractions of Ranthambore everyone has to see and enjoy the beauty of wildlife.


Safaris in Ranthambore National Park is a very important and experience-able thing to see the wildlife with our naked eye in just a few meters gap. Mode of access in Safaris of Ranthambore are two kinds and they are Canter vehicle and Jeep vehicle. Canter is permitted with 20 seats and Jeep is permitted with 6 seats.

Jeep Safari is more interesting with just a six membership travel in an open gypsy to get every point of Ranthambore with a clear view. Cater Safaris is the safest mode of access with a group of 20 members. Experiencing Ranthambore wildlife through the safaris is a memorable moment for everyone forever.

Coming to safaris schedule, every day two shifts will be operated to the park in the morning and evening. But be sure while checking about safari timings because they will change according to seasons and climate.

Ideal time to visit:

The ideal time to visit Ranthambore National Park is from November to March. During this time the climate of Ranthambore is a little bit tolerable with less heat. This duration is the best time to see and capture the attractions of Ranthambore from migratory birds to cruel and wild animals.
