Acharya Kishore Kunal Passes Away, Former IPS Officer and Ram Temple Trust Member

Acharya Kishore Kunal, a retired IPS officer who established the Mahavir Mandir Trust in Bihar, passed away on Sunday in Patna from cardiac arrest, according to PTI. In a tribute to the retired bureaucrat, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary stated that his “death is an irreparable loss to society.”

According to his family, Kunal had a heart arrest on Sunday morning and was taken to the hospital, where he passed away while receiving treatment, according to PTI.

“He gave Mahavir Mandir a national identity and did unprecedented work for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. His contribution is difficult to express in words. His demise is an irreparable loss to society. I pray to God to give peace to the departed soul and strength to his family to bear this grief,” Choudhary said.
