Editorial & Partnership Guidelines

At Storify News, our priority is to provide our global audience with accurate, insightful, and high-value information. To maintain the authority of our platform (DA 71) and ensure a premium experience for our readers, we have established strict guidelines for all contributors and brand partners.

1. Content Quality Standards

We only host content that meets professional editorial standards.

  • Originality: All content must be 100% original. We have a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism or AI-generated content that lacks human oversight and unique insights.
  • Length: Articles should be a minimum of 800 to 1,200 words to ensure topics are covered with sufficient depth.
  • Tone: Content must be objective, professional, and journalistic in tone. We avoid overly “salesy” language or clickbait headlines.
  • Accuracy: All facts, statistics, and quotes must be cited from reputable primary sources.

2. Formatting & Media

  • Structure: Use clear headings (H2, H3), short paragraphs, and bullet points to ensure readability.
  • Imagery: Each submission must include at least one high-resolution featured image. You must own the rights to the image or provide a link to a Creative Commons/Royalty-Free source.

3. Linking & SEO Policy 

We support healthy SEO practices while maintaining a natural link profile for our domain.

  • Editorial Submissions (Free): While we welcome high-quality editorial contributions, free guest submissions do not include commercial (Do-Follow) outbound links.
  • Partner Content & Branded Integrations (Paid): Verified brand partners may include Do-Follow links within their content as part of our structured media packages. All links must be naturally integrated, highly relevant to the subject matter, and point to secure (HTTPS) websites.
  • Integrity: We do not allow “keyword stuffing” or deceptive anchor text. Storify News reserves the right to remove or “No-Follow” any link that points to a site that violates our safety standards.

4. Prohibited Niches & Content

To protect our brand reputation and our readers, Storify News does not accept content related to:

  • Illegal activities or unregulated substances.
  • Gambling, Casinos, or Sports Betting.
  • Adult content, Escort services, or Dating apps.
  • Payday loans, high-risk financial schemes, or “get rich quick” promises.
  • Hate speech, defamation, or politically extremist content.

5. Transparency & Disclosure

In compliance with global advertising standards (FTC/ASC), all content created through a brand partnership will be clearly labeled as “Partner Content” or “Sponsored.” This transparency ensures that our readers can distinguish between editorial news and brand-supported storytelling.

6. Submission & Review Process

All submissions undergo a rigorous review by our editorial board. We reserve the right to:

  • Edit content for clarity, grammar, and house style.
  • Reject content that does not align with our brand values.
  • Remove links that are found to be broken or lead to malicious sites.
