[India], September 2, Bengaluru (Karnataka) (ANI): SS David, the well-known Kannada writer-director, died of a heart attack. He was fifty-five.
Known for directing the films Supari (2001) and Jai Hind (1998), he passed away on Sunday. On Sunday, David passed out on his way home from a medical store. He was brought to Rajarajeshwari Nagar’s private hospital.
In addition to directing, he provided screenplays for many Kannada films, such as Police Story (1996), Agni IPS (1997), Dhairya (1997), Simhada Mari (1997), Hai Bangalore (1997), Independence Day (2000), Mandya (2006), Thirupathi (2006), and Police Story 2 (2007).
David gained recognition in the Kannada cinema industry for his directing, script, and distinctive demeanor and speech. He had contributed dialogue to films such as Agni IPS and the well-known Police Story, which starred Saikumar.
His storytelling captivated audiences, his stories were poignant, and his vision inspired all those he collaborated with. His coworkers remember him as modest, diligent, and truly passionate, quietly inspiring others to strive for excellence.
