On Friday, April 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Varanasi, his parliamentary seat, where he will speak to the public and lay the groundwork for 44 projects totaling ₹3,884 crore. According to Kashi area BJP chief Dilip Patel, this will be his 50th visit to his constituency as prime minister.
A polytechnic institution in Pindra, a government degree college, 356 libraries, 100 new anganwadi centers, 130 drinking water projects, and other rural development-focused initiatives will be launched. According to those with knowledge, the PM would also open a transit hostel at the Police Lines, police barracks in Ramnagar, and four rural roads.
According to Patel, the PM would lay the groundwork for 25 projects valued at an estimated ₹2,255.05 crore, launch 19 projects valued at ₹1,629.13 crore, and speak at a public meeting in Mehdiganj.
To make it convenient for the rural populace, Modi’s gathering will take place on the Ring Road, outside the city limits. Because the program is scheduled for the morning, participants will have time to get home before the afternoon.
“Six SPs, eight ASPs, 33 DSPs, along with 4,000 security personnel, including police, PAC and paramilitary forces will be deployed during the PM’s visit. All measures for security have already been put in place,” according to Varanasi Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal.
CCTV and drone cameras will be used to ensure rooftop deployment along the VIP path and in the neighboring neighborhoods.
