On Thursday morning, eight well-known private schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails, prompting immediate evacuation of students and staff. Security agencies, including the Delhi Police, bomb squads, and fire services, were rushed to the campuses to conduct thorough checks.

The threats were sent between 8:15 am and 9:30 am to several prominent schools, including Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Loreto School (Delhi Cantonment), Mount Carmel School (Dwarka Sector 23 and Anand Niketan), Don Bosco School (CR Park), Air Force Bal Bharati School (Lodhi Road), Birla Vidya Niketan, and Amity School.

According to officials, no suspicious items were found, and all the threats were later confirmed to be hoaxes.

This incident comes just a day after similar bomb threats were reported at the Dwarka court in Delhi and eight schools in Gurgaon, which were also found to be fake after security checks.

Bomb Disposal Squads, Delhi Fire Services tenders, and police teams carried out extensive searches across the school premises as a precautionary measure.

In a statement, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya informed parents that the campus had been fully inspected and declared safe. The school confirmed that classes continued as usual after clearance from authorities.

Delhi Police also confirmed that the threat received by Mount Carmel School in Dwarka was a hoax. A senior police official said that cybercrime teams are tracing the source of the threat emails, adding that no danger was found at most of the affected schools.

On Wednesday, bomb threats were sent to at least eight private schools in Gurgaon, including Pathways World School, Lancers International School, Kunskapsskolan, and Heritage Xperiential Learning School. Teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) were deployed for inspections.

Authorities noted that such incidents are part of a recurring pattern of hoax bomb threats reported across the National Capital Region (NCR) over the past three years, causing panic but resulting in no actual threats.
