Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan shared a bittersweet milestone with her fans on Instagram as her triplets—Diva, Anya, and Czar Kunder—embarked on their university journeys across three separate cities in the United States. Having graduated high school earlier this year, the 18-year-olds are stepping into independent life, marking a major transition for the family.
An Emotional Social Media Farewell
Farah posted a series of photos spending candid, affectionate moments with her children as she dropped them off. Accompanied by the classic track Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, she captured the chaos and emotion of parenting triplets leaving the nest simultaneously:
“If u thought moving ur kid to college was hard.. try doing it 3 times! 3 cities, 3 campuses.. 3 goodbyes! 3 pieces of my heart… Jao jee lo apni zindagi.. but remember, all roads lead back to Dad & mom..”
Maintaining her signature humor, Farah also tagged her husband, filmmaker Shirish Kunder, thanking him for doing everything behind the scenes “except coming in the family pics.”
Different Campuses, Distinct Paths
The three children are pursuing varied academic disciplines across prestigious institutions in the US:
- Diva Kunder: Studying Entrepreneurship and Finance at Babson College.
- Anya Kunder: Pursuing Economics and Data Science at New York University (NYU).
- Czar Kunder: Studying Artificial Intelligence in Business at Emory University.
Industry Reactions
Farah’s heartfelt update drew warm responses from Bollywood colleagues and friends. Filmmaker Karan Johar called her the “Best mom ever,” while Rhea Kapoor expressed disbelief at how fast the children had grown. Actress Shilpa Shirodkar added words of encouragement, noting that the kids would return as “the best version of themselves.”
