Pack your sleeping bags and fire up the portable stove: the comfy anime sensation Laid-Back Camp (Yuru Camp△) is officially returning for its fourth season in April 2027. The announcement arrived alongside a brand-new trailer and key visual, giving fans a vibrant glimpse into the next chapter of Nadeshiko, Rin, and the Outdoor Activities Club.
A Fresh Look and New Animation Studio
While the warm, slow-paced charm remains intact, Season 4 brings an exciting production transition behind the scenes. FuRyu Pictures takes over the animation duties for the new season, stepping in for studio 8-bit.
Director Shin Tosaka returns to helm the project, working alongside Pierre Sugiura on series composition and scriptwriting. Character design duties have been handed to Ryuta Ura, bringing a subtle aesthetic refresh to Yamanashi’s favorite campers while retaining the cozy character art fans adore. Fan-favorite composer Akiyuki Tateyama is also back to score the season, guaranteeing another lineup of soothing, acoustic-driven tracks for those scenic campsite vistas.

Classic Sounds for the Campfire
The musical team for Season 4 pays homage to the series’ roots. Franchise mainstay Asaka will perform the opening theme song, while Eri Sasaki returns to perform the ending theme—continuing a musical tradition that has defined the anime since its 2018 debut. Additionally, musical unit Kiminone contributes the featured insert song “Tonari ni Ireba”.
Based on Afro’s popular manga, Laid-Back Camp has established itself as the undisputed staple of the “iyashikei” (healing) slice-of-life genre. Whether you’re in it for the mouthwatering outdoor meal ideas, practical camping tips, or simply the serene views of Mount Fuji, April 2027 can’t arrive soon enough.
