New Delhi: On Saturday, November 16, at the AT&T Stadium, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul stunned everyone once more by defeating boxing icon Mike Tyson. In the early stages of the bout, Tyson looked fantastic. Tyson always pushed forward and came out charged.
Early in the bout, Tyson attempted to end Paul with a strong left punch but was unable to connect his right hook. Fans were supporting Tyson during the fight as he applied pressure to Paul in the opening round.
Tyson bounced all over the ring in the second round and comfortably repelled Paul’s attack. Paul gave Tyson a left jab, but Tyson made the famous head gesture and got away. When Paul noticed Tyson’s head movement, he aimed for Paul’s torso and punched Tyson in the stomach.
In the third round, Tyson came out firing again, but Paul avoided the harm. After that, Paul changed his strategy and attacked Tyson’s body; in the third round, Tyson appeared worn out as well.
In search of the ideal moment to injure Tyson, Paul got his chance in the fourth round when he hit Tyson with a combination in the center of the ring. Tyson’s head movement was excellent during the fight, but he was too tired to deliver any counterpunches.
Paul began to control the battle, but Tyson gave him a strong blow, to which Paul retaliated with a jab to the left. After Tyson missed his shots, the audience began jeering Paul as well.
Tyson appeared defenseless in the center of the ring as Paul continued to attack, alternating his strikes between the head and body. Tyson started the seventh round by throwing a few punches at Paul, but he was unable to sustain his offensive.
Tyson remained defensive in the final round, and both boxers respected one another in the final ten seconds of the bout. By unanimous decision, Paul defeated Tyson 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73.
