One Day at a Time Season 3 Release Date
The sincere family sitcom starring Rita Moreno and Justina Machado returns for Season 3 as the three generation Alvarez family continues navigate loss and life together. Netflix has announced a February launch date for Season 3 of critically praised comedy series One Day At A Time. The 13-episode third season of the reimagining of the iconic Norman Lear sitcom will debut February 8 on the internet TV network.

One Day at a Time Season 3 Cast
Well, you can stake that the iconic living myth and EGOT winner Rita Moreno will be back as Lydia, alongside the rest of the Riera/Alvarez family; Justina Machado, Isabella Gomez, Marcel Ruiz. Todd Grinnell as Schneider and Stephen Tobolowsky as Dr. Berkowitz will probably also be back.
Tony Plana and James Martinez will also probably make a few appearances as Berto and Victor, respectively.
Thanks to its massive success and serious acclaim, we might even be blessed with a few more iconic actors joining the already unbelievable line up. In July, it that Gloria Estefan, who sings the show’s theme tune, will be making a guest appearance. She’ll be playing the role of Mirtha, Lydia’s baby sister and arch-nemesis. Be ready!

This season co-creator, executive producer and co-showrunner Gloria Calderon Kellett will step in front of the camera for a two-episode arc as Nicole, the new woman in Victor’s (James Martinez) life. She’ll also direct the final two episodes of the season. Gloria Estefan also is set to guest star in Season 3.
