Samsung Introduces Home AI: A Hyper-Personalized Smart Home Experience at CES 2025

Date:

At the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Samsung unveiled a new set of artificial intelligence (AI) features for its networked smart home appliances on Tuesday. According to the South Korean tech behemoth, this new AI product is a component of its “AI for All” strategy, which aims to make technology a “Everyday, Everywhere” experience. The goal of home AI is to give many users living under one roof a highly customized experience. Samsung has recently introduced its Vision AI features that are based on screens.

Samsung Describes the Roadmap for Home AI

The tech giant described Home AI in a press article, along with the many platforms and products it will use to provide a seamless user experience. The Vice Chairman, CEO, and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, Jong-Hee (JH) Han, unveiled the new AI product. He emphasized that Home AI will offer “truly individualized” services for all linked and intelligent gadgets.

In a nutshell, Home AI is a personalization tool powered by AI that can accommodate the various lifestyles of those sharing a home or apartment. According to Samsung, Home AI adjusts to personal patterns and learns from user habits.

In order to improve user security and ease of use, Samsung is also including a number of its own goods. The electronics giant uses the Samsung Knox Matrix, which now supports household appliances, for security and privacy. The linked gadgets can defend the user’s house and data from online dangers by utilizing blockchain technology.

All connected Samsung devices will have a single user interface (UI), which is the company’s operating system for multiple devices. This will enable interoperability and facilitate seamless device management for users. Home AI is also being integrated with its smart home platform, SmartThings. Additionally, Bixby Voice, which is powered by AI, will work with all connected smart home devices.

It’s noteworthy that Samsung has not disclosed any estimated release dates for users to receive the Home AI update and enjoy the new, highly customized experience. Furthermore, it was not disclosed which gadgets will be compatible with Home AI.
