Get ready for an exciting event! For the first time ever, Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) are bringing you a mega boxing event featuring Jake “The Problem Child” Paul and the legendary Mike Tyson. The fight will be live-streamed from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 15, 2024.
What’s Happened So Far?
Originally scheduled for May 31, the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight was postponed to November 15, 2024, due to Tyson’s health issues. He paused training earlier this summer after a flare-up of ulcers but has now resumed preparation. On August 18, the two faced off at the Fanatics Fest in New York City, where Tyson confirmed he’s ready to step back into the ring.
Jake Paul, known for his rise from YouTuber to boxer, is excited to take on one of the greatest fighters of all time. Tyson, the former heavyweight champ, is confident and eager to show he’s still got what it takes.
A Professional Fight, Not an Exhibition
Despite rumors, this will be an official, professional fight, sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The match will last eight rounds, with two-minute rounds, and the fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves with no headgear.
Who’s on the Paul vs. Tyson undercard?
Before the main event, you can also catch some exciting undercard matches. India’s top boxer, Neeraj Goyat, will make his MVP debut against Brazil’s Whindersson Nunes in a six-round bout. Additionally, Mario Barrios will face Abel Ramos in a 12-round WBC Welterweight Championship match.
This fight is shaping up to be one for the history books, so make sure to tune in on November 15!
