New Delhi: Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT, has recently been arrested in connection with a snake venom-rave party case following an interrogation by the Noida Police. Yadav has been remanded to a 14-day judicial custody. The case against him, along with five others, was filed under the Wildlife Act in Noida for allegedly organizing snake venom for recreational use at rave parties last year.
The police raided a banquet hall in Sector 51 of Noida on November 3 last year and apprehended five individuals, including four snake charmers. During the raid, nine snakes and poison were recovered. In addition to rave parties, it was alleged that Yadav also utilized snakes for video shoots.
How Was Snake Venom-Rave Party Gang Busted?
The bust of the snake venom-rave party gang occurred after the animal rights group PFA, led by BJP leader Maneka Gandhi, contacted Yadav, pretending to be interested in acquiring snakes and venom. Yadav allegedly provided the contact details of an individual named Rahul, who directed them to the banquet hall in Sector 51. Upon arrival, the PFA team found four snake charmers with nine snakes, including five cobras, and 20 ml of snake poison. The Noida Police and Forest Department were summoned, leading to the arrest of everyone involved.
Elvish Yadav Denies All Charges
Despite the charges against him, Yadav has vehemently denied any involvement in the case, labeling the accusations as baseless and fake. However, Maneka Gandhi has accused him of illegal involvement in the sale of snake venom and urged for his immediate arrest.
As investigations continue, the truth behind the snake venom-rave party case remains to be seen, with authorities delving deeper into Yadav’s alleged role in the incident.
