Rio 3
The 3D computer-animated musical adventure-comedy film Rio was first time in 2011 and the sequel Rio 2 was released in 2014. Two years back when the sequel came out, there were rumours about the next movies that’ll end the series. There has been no official word on Rio 3 but we have a group of speculations about who’ll direct and star in the last sequel.
Rio 3 Release Date
The first film RIO has earn $484 million worldwide while Rio 3 grossed $163 million globally. The numbers make Rio 3 unavoidable. After the first film, they took three years to make the series. So, based on the time, also unconfirmed, but it took 3 years to make Rio 2 after the first, so the Rio 3 release date should be in 2019 or 2021. Probably in the summer.
Rio 3 Cast and Starts
Obviously, the Rio 3 cast must have Eisenberg and Hathaway, but I honestly think they’ll keep the full cast with a few new additions for the season 3.
- Jesse Eisenberg – No doubt Eisenberg will be back as Blu for Rio 3.
- Anne Hathaway – Hathaway plays love interest Jewel in the Rio films, and I expect she’ll be back for more soon.
- Wanda Sykes – Sykes plays Chloe the goose.
- Jane Lynch – Lynch plays Alice, the other goose.
- Jamie Foxx – Foxx plays Nico in the Rio series.

Final Thoughts on Rio 3
You know what Rio 3 could use? More dogs. DOGS ARE BETTER THAN BIRDS. Also, a dog could eat Blu, therefore ending this season and beginning a new, more awesome series about a sweet and cuddly yet vicious dog named… Rover… who becomes the villain of all animated films by eating their stars. Bambi’s next.

I love Rio 1 and 2. Could the 3rd one come out? I saved over $150 waiting for that movie to come out.
Man I loved the Rio series and hoped for a 3rd film and hopefully they keep making more probably up to a 9th or 10th film because I’m in love with the first Film and the second film made me cry just by the movie ending and how the song was kinda emotional and after that I just cried and hoped for a 3rd movie of Rio.
Please make a Rio 3 it would mean the whole world to me if this could happen, you guys are my favorite movie creators. PLEASE
